Lazy river cruise

A water excursion on board of a modern Gambian-style river pirogue, cruising along the oyster creeks and meandering through the tributaries of the River Gambia. Sounds relaxing doesn’t it? Besides this trip offers you a close-up view of aquatic bird life, as well as the chance to see local fishermen casting their nets and ladies collecting oysters from the roots of the mangrove reefs. Of course a refreshing dip in the river, or a peaceful moment of fishing are also part of the programme.
