Tanji Fishing Village

In Tanji almost everyone is involved in the fish industry, which gives it the name, “Tanji Fishing Village”. Some catch them, some bring them ashore, some smoke them, some dry them, some sell them. Some fix the nets, some sell the spices and vegetables to go with the fish or the ice to keep the catch fresh. Strolling around this local fishing community where everybody plays his of her own part and welcomes you to watch and engage with their daily life, gives a vivid, buzzing and colorful experience.
